KFAC Be Ag-Wise Workshops
Join KFAC and Kansas Farm Bureau this winter for the fifth annual “Be Ag-Wise” professional development workshops. This year, the theme is “Seaons of Agriculture” which focuses on hands-on learning labs, lesson plans and resource materials that incorporate every season of agriculture into the classroom.

These workshops are designed especially for agricultural education presenters at the county level, which include but are not limited to:
• Cooperative Extension Educators
• Conservation District Managers
• County Farm Bureau Agricultural
Education volunteers
• Youth presenters
• Agricultural teachers
• Teachers
2013 “Be Ag-Wise” Workshops:
Each workshop will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
January 19 – Manhattan at Kansas Farm Bureau
February 2 – Emporia at Presbyterian Church
February 16 – Colby at Community Building
February 23– Garden City at SW Area Research and Extension Complex
March 9– Wichita at Farm Bureau Claims Office

The $50.00 registration fee includes lunch and copies of lesson plans and other resources. Make checks payable to KFB Activity Fund.
There must be a minimum of 10 participants at each location in order to conduct a workshop.
