KFAC is pleased to offer a variety of resources for use in the classroom and beyond!

photo of a teacher woking on a food science lessonOur standards-based, hands-on lesson plans cover topics from plant science to food science to animals to conservation, and they are aligned with subjects like science, math, and reading. Our educator’s guides and complementary Kansas Kids Connections magazines are aimed to provide teachers and students with information on animals, Kansas crops and oil seeds, and natural resources. The Cargill-sponsored assembly programs in the Kansas City and Wichita areas are designed to create a fun, interactive experience for youth. Our resources and information on Kansas Day, State Ag Day and Earth Day are intended to make it easy to incorporate agriculture into the current curriculum. The photo gallery (coming soon!) provides a useful way to show youth the uniqueness and beauty of Kansas agriculture.

We hope you enjoy connecting your classroom to Kansas agriculture!
