The Foundation's Board of Directors is composed of individuals across the state who are committed to connecting classrooms to Kansas agriculture. The Board members have pledged to uphold the Foundation’s purposes and policies, to seek and manage financial and other resources effectively, and to ensure effective organizational planning, all while working to ensure agriculture is in every classroom every day. KFAC is appreciative of these individuals who volunteer their time and effort to reach Kansas teachers and youth.
The Board is composed of several committees, which oversee the programming and managerial efforts of the Foundation. These committees include the Education Committee, Endowment Committee, Finance Committee, Internal Affairs Committee, Marketing Committee and Membership Committee. Each committee is chaired by a member of the Board of Directors.
Board members are elected every three years on a staggering rotation. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a member of the KFAC Board of Directors, complete the Board Nomination Form and return to the KFAC office. Elections are held every year in November at the KFAC Annual Meeting.
